Patient Concerns
Patient Education
Patients' concerns over their oral health can range from the most simple to the most complex matters. Whatever your concern may be, our advanced dental services are designed to restore a healthy, functional smile built to last a lifetime.
Many patients do not realize that some of the chronic pains and inconveniences they suffer from, such as headaches, snoring, and stiffness in their necks, can be relieved through simple dental procedures. Dental problems often start on a smaller scale and can be diagnosed when addressed through routine checkups. However, when left untreated, many minor concerns can lead to more permanent damage.
We designed this website to be completely informed about their dental health, the procedures we offer, and our dental staff. We find that Patients are more comfortable entering our dental office once they know what they can expect through every step of the proposed treatment. Dr. Yurovsky takes the time to address your dental concerns, thus ensuring that you are provided with a personalized and efficient appointment with which you are completely satisfied.
Patient Safety
Patient safety is our absolute top priority. As such, we adhere to the highest standard of professional safety. Our modern dental office is routinely cleaned, sterilized, and radiation controlled to uphold all safety requirements. Our staff regularly attends safety seminars and is quite knowledgeable about the most up-to-date techniques.
Sterilization
We recognize that preventing the spread of infectious disease is essential and spare no expense in meeting and exceeding all of the sterilization guidelines set by OSHA, the ADA, the CDC, and the State of Pennsylvania.
Pre-Medication
Patients with certain medical conditions (e.g., valvular heart conditions, artificial joints) may need to pre-medicate with antibiotics before certain treatments. We do this with your safety in mind. Please inform us if you have a condition that could require pre-medication.
Low Radiation Digital X-Rays
To ensure patient security and maximize the effectiveness of our treatment, we use Digital X-Rays. Digital X-Rays are taken with very low radiation. These require less time to process than traditional X-rays, involve no harmful chemicals, and can be digitally enhanced or enlarged to aid the dentist in treatment planning.
